Positivity Jar Challenge – Spreading Positivity at Our School!
In August, Mason Anthony School introduced our positivity jar to promote positivity, kindness, and strong work ethic. Throughout the month, students were able to nominate classmates who showcased positive actions within the school. They would write their name and their positive gesture on fake money, and we would fill our positivity jar. Every week, we would read some of the entries aloud for the students. Today, on September 1st, we read all of the nominations from August and selected the students with the most nominations for real monetary prizes. They were so deserving!
While it was special to recognize the students with the most nominations, the most spectacular part was that ALL students had at least one recognition. It was amazing to see how much they had come together in the past month and worked as a team to create the best possible learning environment for one another. Reading and sharing the positive moments throughout the month filled our school with light and happiness. Students were able to keep the pieces of fake money that had their kind gestures written on them as a token of appreciation and to remember the impact they had on their classmates. We are confident that the good vibes will continue into September and all of the months to come!
