New Year, New Opportunities

As the new year is upon us, we start to set goals and expectations for ourselves. It’s exciting to think of all the opportunities that may come our way in the new year. As we fill ourselves with hope, remember that we have the ability to take charge of our life both personally and professionally. Start off by making a list of what you would like to accomplish in 2022. Once you have your goals planned out, jot down the tasks needed to reach your personal finish line.

If you have always wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry but don’t know where to start, set up a school tour. It’s never too late to begin a new journey. Classes start every 6 weeks for the Manicuring and Esthetics Programs. The Advanced Cosmetology Program starts every 12 weeks.

Are you a current student who wants to enhance your education experience? Look into an internship. Reach out to salons and spas in the area and ask if they offer internship opportunities. Internships are the best way to learn hands on while getting your foot in the door for a potential job offer.

Maybe you are a Mason Anthony School graduate who is ready to start your career after the state board exam. Put yourself out there and apply for jobs that make you feel excited. You never know what opportunities you may get, as long as you open yourself up to receive them.
