Most girls can agree one of the toughest decisions is deciding what polish color to go with at the salon? If you’re anything like us, you’ll spend too much time weighing your options, only to leave and wish you would have gone with another color!

Feel free to rock any polish color any time of the year! But, if you need a little extra help, we are here to offer some tips on choosing your color based on the time of year.

June-August – Warm, summery seasons are a great time to go as vibrant as you would like. Summer is the most appropriate time for hot pinks, corals, and even neons such as yellows, greens, etc. Summer is also the perfect time to rock white nails. We recommend going bright in the summer, and avoiding browns, blacks, or grays.
September-November – This is a great time to bring out fall tones on your nails. Browns, tans, rustic oranges, and deep reds/maroons look great in this season. We recommend to start to fading out of vibrant and neons in the fall.
December-February – Winter is in the air, so it’s a great time to tap into darker colors. Again, reds are great for winter months, especially around the holidays. And, if there is a time for black nails, it is certainly the winter! You can also add grays or a silver shimmer on top of your nails to be seasonally appropriate and festive, especially around Christmas or NYE. Towards the end of winter, feel free to bring out white nails again.
March-May – Spring has sprung and it’s time to rock pastels! Pastel colors look the best this time of year. We recommend trying pale pinks, purples, and blues during these spring months.
